about crue.
empowering your journey to healing and wellness.
about.
Our clients often start therapy feeling isolated, misunderstood, and unhappy. We believe that through connection, positive change can occur. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inviting, and authentic space for our clients to heal and grow. Our therapists utilize integrated and holistic therapeutic approaches to connect with each client individually.
We know there is no one- size-fits-all solution for therapy. That’s why the foundation of our work together is about you. Our goal is not to do the work for our clients, but to walk alongside them and support them on their journey.
Crue Therapy offers individual and couples therapy virtually in Illinois and Ohio.

she/her/hers
As a therapist, Lauren brings an empathetic, authentic, and collaborative approach to therapy. She strives to create a safe and empowering space where you’ll feel supported to challenge and untangle thoughts, experiences, and behaviors that are no longer helpful. Using evidence-based practices, you’ll work together to develop tools and skills that will help you grow, heal, and self-regulate. Lauren utilizes a trauma-informed, integrated framework and strongly believes in a holistic approach, including the mind-body connection, to treatment. She gravitates toward therapeutic modalities that utilize mindfulness (DBT), explore past experiences (Psychodynamic), create awareness around thoughts and behaviors (CBT), and celebrate your strengths. Lauren’s areas of focus are anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relational struggles, life transitions, and trauma.
Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, a National Certified Counselor, and a Certified Yoga Teacher.
